There are thousands of pathways and methods of meditation known to the yogis. In recent years, a few of these have become popular. The Himalayan Traditional preserves the traditions and methodology from which these few are borrowed. It offers training within a comprehensive tradition, wherein all thousands of methods are seen as a whole in their interconnected sequences of practices. Individuals from all spiritual traditions and all walks of life are welcome to come and participate. During the yoga teacher training, you will be given a comprehensive knowledge of Yoga Alignment and Adjustment, Yoga Teaching Methodology, Mantras Chanting, Pranayama, Yoga Asana, Yog Mudras, Shatkarma, Yoga Nidra, Yoga Philosophy, and much more.

High-Quality Vegetarian Yoga Aahar
All meals are prepared hygienically by an expert chef and the vegetables used are organically grown. Only vegetarian meals are served and are included in the fees.

A yogic diet helps harmonize the tridoshas and trigunas. It calms the mind and the emotional imbalances are controlled. It promotes long life and vigor. A yogic (Sattvika) diet promotes intelligence and enhances memory. It develops overall well-being and sound health in harmony with the deeper soul.
Q: Do I get time to go out and visit other places in Rishikesh during the retreat?
The retreats are planned to give you great leisure time, there is a five-hour gap in the afternoon for you to take a break and visit places.
Q: What are the provisions for clean drinking water at the Yoga School?
Meditationforsleep.yoga has an RO unit to ensure that students always receive an unlimited supply of clean and healthy water.
Q: What happens if I miss a class?
You can make up for the missed classes or hours by arranging for extra classes with the yoga teachers or by extending your stay to complete the yoga teacher training course.
Q: What if I get sick and cannot complete my hours?
We arrange extra classes or ask the students to stay for a little longer in case he/she gets sick for a longer duration. There is no additional charge for the same, the student just needs to pay for stay and meals of additional days.
Q: What clothing and other things do I bring with me?
Bring clothing according to the change of season. It is advisable to carry warm clothes during the winter months starting mid of November to February. For summer days, it is wise to carry light clothes as temperatures can soar up to 40 degrees.
Q: Do you have any arrangements for Airport pickups? Do I get a free airport pickup?
Yes, we have arrangements for Airport pickups. However, pick up + drop off from airport will be at extra cost.
